what is tap?

Tap. is a wearable TENS device reimagined for all bodies and real life

how does it work?

TENS (Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation) sends small electrical pulses through the skin to the underlying nerves. This can help reduce the intensity of pain signals being transmitted to your brain and ease your perception of the pain. Additionally, tap. can stimulate your body’s natural production of endorphins - your own pain-relieving chemicals.

When using Tap, people who menstruate may experience relief from period pain reducing the need for medication. Results are best when Tap. is applied to the area of pain when the pain starts or as directed by your health expert.

transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation

The latest research has shown that TENS therapy can help reduce pain and inflammation by stimulating the nerves that send pain signals to the brain. Tap. provides targeted and customisable relief by utilising five different modes (high & low frequency) and customisable sticky pad options for maximum effectiveness.

Both high-frequency and low-frequency TENS can be effective for combatting period pain. You may prefer one over the other or find that a combination of both works best for you.
