Why Tap 2.0 works

3+ ways to wear for personalized relief — butterfly pad, discreet pad, or electrode option included

Wearable and discreet — use it under clothing, at work, or on the go

Long battery life — 45-minute charge = 7+ hours of use

✓ Clinician-designed and recommended for real pain relief — using evidence-based TENS settings instead of gimmicky 'massage' modes, with exceptional customer support from a team who cares.

Or mix it up — use a sticky pad on your front and electrodes on your back, thanks to our longer XL electrode cord (50cm).

Simple to use, backed by science

Important note for USA supporters ▼

To our USA supporters: At this time, we've paused shipping Tap 2.0 to the US due to the high cost of import duties charged by US customs (often USD $80–$100+). These costs are outside our control and were creating a negative experience for our customers, so we've chosen to pause US orders rather than have anyone feel surprised or treated unfairly.

We'll review this as we grow — and hope to re-open with a better system in the future. If you already have a Tap 2.0 TENS, you can purchase replacement pads as usual.

Replacement Pads

Our replacement pads are medical-grade, reusable, and designed to work safely and effectively with Tap 2.0 when cared for properly.

How long do pads last?

Replacement pads typically last 20–40 uses, depending on:

  • Skin type
  • Placement area
  • Frequency of use
  • How well they’re cared for

If a pad no longer sticks well, feels uncomfortable, or doesn’t deliver stimulation evenly, it’s time to replace it.

How to care for your pads

Proper care extends pad life and comfort:

  • Apply pads to clean, dry skin only (no oils, lotions, or creams)
  • After use, gently place pads back onto the clear plastic backing
  • Store flat, away from heat and direct sunlight
  • If pads collect lint, you can lightly rinse with water, air dry, and reapply to the backing (do not scrub or use soap)

Safety & comfort notes

  • Pads are for external use on skin only
  • Do not use on broken, irritated, or infected skin
  • Mild redness after use is normal and should fade quickly
  • Stop use if you experience discomfort and contact our support team if unsure

Which pads should I choose?

  • Butterfly pad: great for lower back or front pelvic placement
  • Discreet pad: ideal for everyday wear under clothing
  • Small round electrodes: best for targeted areas or customised placement

  • XL Butterfly: great for back pain or larger targeted relief

Many users keep spare pads on hand, especially if using Tap regularly or during flare-ups.

If you’re unsure which pads are right for you, or how often you should replace them, our NZ-based support team is always happy to help — just email hello@taphealth.nz 🤍
