Talking Endo with Tap. - Jordan's Story

In this episode, we sit down with Jordan. Former Eve girly and now successful marketing guru, Jordan talks about her long road to diagnosis and the hardships along the way including insurance claims that got denied last minute and having to make health decisions in a new country and health system. Jordan knows pain, but she also knows grit and strength.

We talk about:

  • working in a way that accommodates your cycle
  • learning to listen to your body and advocate for yourself while in hospital
  • having to fork out $15,000 dollars on a surgery denied by insurance
  • and what it means to meet your own strength.

Jordan speaks candidly about her journey and what it was like to manage severe pain flares prior to her laparoscopic surgery. She also talks about the invisible pain that so many of us manage in the background of daily life, especially in male dominated spaces.

This conversation is a reminder that living with endo doesn’t mean you can't live the life you've dreamed of but it does ask you to do things differently.

If you’re navigating endometriosis or pelvic pain, you’re not alone 🤍
